Job summary

The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking an Account Executive, Ticket Sales to drive revenue across Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course. You will handle season and partial ticket plans, premium hospitality, group tickets, and dining reservations, while responding to inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and web channels.

You will close sales, manage client relationships, and coordinate ticket distribution, aiming to meet department goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of sports team sales, general business sales, or sports management is preferred.
• Excellent oral, written communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and ability to learn NYRA’s CRM and ticketing system.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; willing to travel to Saratoga in the Summer.
• Driver’s license and flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sales and service of all ticket products across our venues.
• Responding to inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and web inquiries; initiating the ticketing process.
• Meet sales goals and build relationships with new and existing clients; close sales and coordinate ticket distribution.
• Explain facilities, food service, entertainment, and amenities to optimize events.
• Prospect new business and follow-up on leads; maintain a client database.
• Participate in events and assist with event setup and logistics.
