Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer in Norfolk, VA, to lead test and evaluation activities for the U.S. Navy PMW/A-520 program.

The role involves coordinating T&E events, preparing plans and documents, and working closely with the APM, lead engineer, and IPT to ensure successful program execution. Ideal candidates have active Secret clearance, 6+ years in engineering with T&E, and experience in Navy-related test environments.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 6+ years of engineering experience and Test & Evaluation (T&E) experience.
• Experience with system developmental-type test events.
• Ability to plan, organize and carry through to completion T&E efforts to provide program deliverables.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and go onboard ships for testing durations.
• Hybrid position with onsite/remote mix.

Responsibilities

• Develop T&E strategy and schedules, and manage test events.
• Provide testing management for development, acquisition, integration, and upgrades.
• Review or develop test-related documentation like test strategies and TEMP.
• Lead and organize T&E Working IPTs (WIPTs).
• Assist APMs with DT readiness reviews; coordinate meetings and track action items.
• Provide SME support for reliability growth, performance, software, cybersecurity tests.
• Coordinate on-site test witnessing and equipment readiness.
• Conduct engineering reviews of test reports and CDRLs.
• Engage with COMOPTEVFOR, OPNAV and other stakeholders per DoD 5000.
