Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer in the San Diego area for a hybrid role (approximately 60% onsite, 40% remote).

The successful candidate will support Navy PMW/A-520 program activities, developing and executing test strategies for hardware and software systems and communicating results to leadership. Required is an active Secret clearance, a technical bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years in engineering or T&E with strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required upon hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or related field and 3+ years in engineering or T&E.
• Experience developing and executing test procedures for complex hardware and software systems.
• Proven ability to write and communicate technical results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review test plans, procedures, reports and requirements-traceability docs.
• Support lab, land-based, shipboard and operational test events.
• Verify hardware, software interfaces, interoperability and performance.
• Analyze test data, document results and identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate with government engineers, labs, platform teams and industry partners.
• Prepare technical briefings and communicate results and risks to leadership.
