Job summary

Dell is seeking a Test Engineer in Chicago, IL for a hybrid role. You’ll bring at least 5 years of WebdriverIO experience and strong JMeter and accessibility testing skills. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure robust, accessible front-end interfaces and participate in on-call rotations.

You’ll help modernize legacy accessibility modules and document systems to enable rapid onboarding for a mid-level engineer, while contributing to a growth-minded team in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with JMeter for load testing.
• Experience with accessibility testing and inclusive design.
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
• Comfort working in Chicago, IL area and hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Pair-program tricky JMeter edge cases with engineers across Chicago, IL.
• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Accessibility Testing.
• Improve legacy Accessibility Testing modules and clean up code and tests.
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems.
• Sketch JMeter sequence diagrams to clarify technology flow for teammates.
• Document the Accessibility Testing system to enable quick onboarding for the next mid-level engineer.
