Job summary

Thriveworks seeks Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Edison, New Jersey. Clinicians must be licensed in the state of practice and will work across in-person and telemedicine settings to serve adolescents and adults.

The position offers a competitive fee-for-service package with a $141,000-$203,000 yearly range based on 25–35 hours weekly, plus a ramp stipend for 30+ hours. Thriveworks emphasizes ADHD treatment standards and safe prescribing practices.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• Experience with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Clinicians must be licensed and live in the state in which they will practice.
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training and certification required for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes in person and follow up in person every 90 days.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Treat patients aged 14 and up with appropriate medications as needed.
• Create and update individualized care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools per guidelines.
• Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Directors on clients, programs, and services across sites.
