Job summary

Prime Partners seeks a Project Manager to lead low voltage design initiatives from planning through construction administration. Hybrid work is available from multiple regional offices, with healthcare or data center experience valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of low voltage technology design or consulting experience including project leadership.
• Experience on healthcare, higher education, government, or data center facilities.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, audiovisual, and security systems with BICSI/TIA standards.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and communicate clearly with clients.
• Consistent employment history with longevity at previous firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner and design team meetings as the Project Manager and document requirements, decisions, and action items.
• Manage design fees, labor budgets, staffing, schedules, and scope changes.
• Direct low voltage system design including structured cabling, audiovisual, nurse call, access control, and video surveillance.
• Coordinate technology requirements with architects, MEP engineers, and owners.
• Oversee structured cabling and security drawings and specifications and review deliverables for completeness and quality.
• Support hands-on structured cabling design and limited Revit production when project needs require it.
• Review submittals and RFIs, observe construction, and document issues related to design intent.
• Guide technology designers, resolve technical issues on healthcare and data center projects, and communicate progress to clients.
