Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical writing or related field.
• Ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and produce clear docs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience documenting processes, workflows, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with development, GIS, and engineering teams to document systems and workflows.
• Create, maintain, and modernize technical documentation and guides.
• Review existing docs for clarity, consistency, and usability.
• Develop docs from scratch where none exist yet.
• Interview SMEs and translate complex concepts into user-friendly docs.
• Establish templates, standards, and best practices for documentation.
• Leverage Jira to gather and organize technical information.
• Keep documentation current as systems evolve.
