Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Technical Writer to join our Fairfax, Virginia team in a hybrid onsite/remote capacity. You will translate dense regulatory or technical concepts into plain-language materials for SMEs, managers, and security teams.

The role collaborates with SMEs, program managers, and Security teams to produce SOPs, user manuals, policy handbooks, and executive correspondence while ensuring compliance with federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• High School Diploma with 9+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Document Creation & Revision: write, edit, and format SOPs, user manuals, policy handbooks, and executive correspondence.
• Subject Matter Research: interview SMEs, review blueprints, and verify accuracy.
• Compliance & Standards Editing: ensure deliverables comply with federal guidelines (GPO, CIGIE, accessibility).
• Simplifying Complexity: translate technical/legal jargon for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Version & Repository Control: manage document libraries and multi-author revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
