Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, through the Power Through program, seeks a Technical Sales Rep to drive revenue for backup generation solutions in a hybrid territory. You will lead customer engagements, coordinate with EPCs, and develop project scopes from load analysis to proposals.

The role requires strong sales, technical aptitude, and contract negotiation skills, with up to 25% travel. A bachelor's in engineering or business and 3–7 years in energy sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in technical sales, account management, or project management in energy/power industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand backup power requirements and site constraints.
• Maintain expert knowledge of backup power products and advise on system selection.
• Develop project scopes and proposals with EPCs and equipment partners.
• Negotiate sales contracts and collaborate with legal and procurement to finalize terms.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and cultivate new ones for additional solutions.
• Forecast sales, plan accounts, and manage the sales pipeline to meet objectives.
• Track opportunities from lead to close in the Salesforce CRM system.
