Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in New York City is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer to join our Corporate / Commercial Workplace Interiors group. You will perform site surveys, develop construction docs, and coordinate with clients and consultants in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Architecture (MA a plus), 5–8 years in corporate interiors, expert Revit and AutoCAD skills, and strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and Zoning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; MA a plus.
• 5–8 years of continuous professional experience in corporate/workplace interiors.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and Zoning.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys and documentation.
• General site code review (egress, fixture counts, path of travel).
• Assist with budget scope drawings and specifications.
• Technical coordination with the design team.
• Full construction documentation including detailing and specifications.
• Coordination with client, landlord, and consultants.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; punchlist inspection and distribution.
• Attend weekly project meetings and respond to RFIs.
• Site inspections and layout approvals.
• Assist in project close-out documentation.
