Job summary

Hanover Technology Group is seeking a Technical Architect to join our Worcester, MA team in a hybrid work arrangement. The TA provides leadership for high-level solution design, architects the project and ensures alignment with enterprise standards across teams.

Responsibilities include enforcing architectural principles, collaborating with business and architecture stakeholders, mentoring leads, and guiding SDLC practices to deliver secure, scalable solutions in the insurance domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2–5 years design/implementation experience in IT or consulting with deep knowledge in at least one technical discipline.
• Experience with architecture diagrams using Visio/PowerPoint and presenting to stakeholders.
• Exposure to multiple technical configurations and processing environments.
• Insurance industry knowledge and vendor hardware/ virtualization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for project solution and technical design across enterprise architecture principles.
• Guide projects on high-level solution and technical approach; own architecture artifacts.
• Collaborate with business, solution, information and data architects to design impactful solutions.
• Enforce standard tools and products; ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Mentor technical leads and developers on architecture and design.
