Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Technical Staff Accountant II to support general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month/quarter closes. You’ll gain exposure to technical accounting through research and documentation and will work under the Technical Accounting Manager to contribute to accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for monthly/quarterly closes.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate unusual items.
• Perform accounting research and document conclusions.
• Support process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting matters.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready technical accounting files.
• Take on special projects as needed.
