Job summary

Cooley LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst to join the Technology Operations team. The role focuses on evaluating technology operations, ITSM practices, and governance across portfolios, delivering data-driven insights and dashboards for leadership.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive process improvements, ensure ITIL-aligned change, incident, and problem management, and support digitization initiatives using low-code platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ direct years of experience in technology operations or support.
• Familiarity with ITSM concepts and the ITIL framework.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with IT governance, portfolio management, or intake processes.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and synthesize related facts to aid leadership decisions with data-driven support.
• Support intake governance activities, including routing and prioritizing technology requests.
• Liaise between business and technology stakeholders.
• Validate ITIL-aligned processes across Change, Problem and Release Management.
• Conduct market research and monitor changes impacting scope or work.
• Collaborate on digitization of business processes via low-code/no-code platforms.
• Formulate and maintain business processes, identifying bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.
• Support portfolio monitoring and data reconciliation across systems.
• Assist vendor evaluation and contract renewal processes.
• Define, build, and maintain dashboards and SOPs to improve operations.
• Own enablement and adoption for new technology processes and tools.
• All other duties as assigned.
