HTB is seeking a Tax Operations & Compliance Specialist to join the Tax Department in a hybrid role. The position blends individual income tax preparation with department operations, workflow management, technology support, client assistance, and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will have experience in individual income taxation and tax compliance, with strong organizational, technical, and process-management skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of individual income taxation and tax return preparation.
• Experience with tax compliance activities as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state Form 1040 returns and related schedules.
• Organize client tax documents and assist with scanning workflows.
• Support electronic tax return delivery via SafeSend and ensure proper configuration.
• Manage tax notice workflow and related projects in the firm's system.
• Provide operational support for the Tax Department and analytics reporting.
