Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in public accounting, tax preparation, or a professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing individual income tax returns is strongly preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
• Candidates working toward a credential may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state Form 1040 individual income tax returns and related schedules.
• Review client tax information for completeness and identify missing data for returns.
• Coordinate electronic delivery of tax returns via SafeSend and support clients with access and signatures.
• Assist with tax notice workflow and departmental analytics within CCH Workflow.
• Provide operational support to the Tax Department and help improve processes and reporting.
