Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Woodbury office. You will lead tax projections, reviews, and planning for varied client engagements, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and strategic guidance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tax projections, tax workpapers and tax returns.
• Provide consulting, planning and compliance for clients.
• Oversee day-to-day needs of clients and tax return processes.
• Identify and resolve tax issues; perform tax research.
• Maintain proactive relationships with clients and communicate with partners.
• Coordinate with Partners for timely planning and project communication.
• Coach and mentor staff to develop the tax practice.
• Stay informed on new tax issues and business trends affecting clients.
