EisnerAmper’s Private Client Services (PCS) tax director role sits across multiple offices in a growing environment, supporting clients with exceptional services. The position emphasizes collaboration, mentorship of staff accountants, and a proactive approach to delivering tax solutions.

The role partners with the largest accounting and advisory firm to provide sophisticated tax work, with a focus on individual, fiduciary, estate and gift taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• Public accounting experience.
• CPA certification.
• 10+ years work experience in tax compliance, with specialization in individual, fiduciary, estate and gift taxation.

Responsibilities

• Review of tax projections, tax workpapers and tax returns. Specifically, Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns.
• Oversee and manage the tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issues.
• Experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts.
• Mentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Effectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently. Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client services.
• Ability to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economics.
• Highly proactive approach to serving clients.
