Seven Seas Water Group seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Project, Process, and EI&C Engineers responsible for seawater and brackish water treatment plants across the U.S. and international markets.

You will own the engineering schedule, manage deliverables, and coordinate cross-disciplinary checks to prevent delays in procurement and construction. You will build and implement a capacity plan, mentor engineers, and operate as a working manager able to review P&IDs and calculations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• 8–12 years of engineering experience in project execution or system integration, water treatment preferred; SWRO/BWRO a plus.
• Track record of delivering engineering scope on schedule in a project-driven environment.
• 5+ years managing engineers, with a demonstrable record of developing people.
• Experience managing engineering subcontracts and lump-sum packages; ability to scope and control external work.
• Ability to read, check, and approve P&IDs, PFDs, GAs, specifications and calculations across process, mechanical, and EI&C disciplines.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from Tampa office, with 10-20% travel.
• PE license and PMP certification are a plus; Spanish language ability and ERP-driven project execution (IFS Cloud or similar).

Aufgaben

• Own the engineering schedule on every project, planning drawings, Bills of Quantities, control system deliverables, and procurement packages backward from the project timeline.
• Run the department on early warning, track deliverables against plan, and provide options when risk arises.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary checks among process, mechanical, and EI&C engineering; partner with 3D Plant Design group; facilitate HAZOPs and early design reviews.
• Own the capacity plan: forecast demand across projects and pursuits, flexing staffing and subcontracting to absorb workload.
• Mentor each engineer with development plans and build a culture where issues surface early.
• Lead as a working manager, able to jump into P&ID or calculation reviews and make the call when it matters.
• Ensure quality gate for all department outputs, in-house or subcontracted, to engineering standards.
