Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group (SSWG) is seeking an experienced engineering leader in Houston to run the engineering department, set priorities, and ensure every drawing and document is correct on first pass.

You will be the technical voice with customers during business development, building estimates and preliminary designs that win projects, and you will mentor a team while standardizing designs for faster, cleaner plant construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in engineering with wastewater or municipal projects.
• 5 years managing engineers at project or department level.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Deep fluency in municipal water and wastewater processes and related disciplines.
• Ability to own the full design document set and maintain project documents.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day of the engineering department, setting priorities and workload.
• Serve as technical voice with customers during business development, building estimates and preliminary designs.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Construction to standardize designs for faster builds.
• Mentor a team that respects decisive, informed decisions.
