Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group, headquartered in Tampa, seeks a Senior Project Engineer responsible for engineering all aspects of water treatment systems, mainly seawater and brackish RO, for long-term operations.

You will own engineering from 3D design to I&C, coordinate with the Plant Design Team, lead P&ID reviews, and support project delivery and safety while traveling 10–20% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional water-treatment or SWRO design experience.
• Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, and GA drawings.
• Experience directing design personnel; strong mechanical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer for assigned projects and support project manager.
• Own P&IDs and ensure cross-discipline consistency.
• Prepare engineering documents (P&IDs, foundations, valves, equipment data sheets).
• Prepare material purchase specs and review supplier submittals.
• Coordinate with 3D Plant Design team for 3D facility design.
• Facilitate HAZOP and Plant Design Reviews.
• Maintain BOMs in ERP (IFS) and issue purchase requisitions.
• Direct and approve work of AutoCAD designers.
• Assist Business Development with project costing.
• Assist in operational procedures for new plants.
