Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an experienced trainer to join our regional training team, supporting direct care staff who provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll be a confident public speaker and a passionate trainer, delivering high-quality training across multiple states.

The role blends administration and facilitation (50% admin, 50% in-person and virtual). You’ll lead New Employee Orientation, develop materials in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and run virtual trainings via

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of experience or education related to staff training or in-service presentation.
• Proven track record in conducting virtual or web-based training programs.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting).

Responsibilities

• Facilitating New Employee Orientation: conduct engaging sessions for new hires.
• Proficient use of software: create training materials in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Open communication: discuss training requirements with staff at all levels.
• Supporting fellow trainers: assist in in-house and regional training initiatives.
• Data entry into Learning Management System: update completions and track data for compliance.
• Leading virtual trainings: deliver sessions via Zoom, GoToMeeting and Teams; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinating resources: partner with staff to maximize training impact.
• Role split: 50% administration and 50% facilitation (75% in-person, 25% virtual across states).
