Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an experienced trainer to join our regional training team, supporting direct care staff. You will deliver engaging sessions, build training materials, and lead virtual trainings across multiple states.

This role is 50% administration and 50% facilitation, with roughly 10 participants per session and a hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite). Travel across states is involved as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience or education related to staff training or in-service presentation.
• Proven track record in virtual or web-based training programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual platforms such as Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting.
• Ability to demonstrate physical coordination and crisis intervention demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating New Employee Orientation and making new hires feel welcomed.
• Create training materials using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Foster open communication about training needs with all staff levels.
• Support fellow trainers and assist in in-service training.
• Enter data into the Learning Management System and track completions.
• Lead virtual trainings using Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Teams.
• Coordinate training resources to maximize impact for individuals served.
• Balance 50% administration with 50% facilitation (75% in-person, 25% virtual across states, about 10 people per session).
