Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Program Director to oversee and coordinate residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role blends direct care with supervisory duties to ensure program goals are met and services align with person-centered practices.

You will lead staff, monitor operations, develop plans and budgets, and work to maintain regulatory compliance while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field is required.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience with development or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience developing and implementing individual programs, budgets, and supervising employees is preferred.
• Strong decision-making, time management and communication skills; reliable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate assigned programs (residential and/or day programs).
• Lead staff orientation, training and supervision.
• Monitor program operations, goals and plans.
• Ensure quality of services aligned with person-centered practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct care as needed at programs.
