Job summary

Fooda Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full cycle recruitment for high-volume hourly roles and select salaried positions. You will build pipelines with creative sourcing, communicating effectively with candidates and hiring teams.

This hybrid role requires three days in our Chicago headquarters. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in corporate and high-volume roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Compelling metrics demonstrating hires, time-to-fill, and results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to promote Fooda to candidates.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently; self-directed.
• Strong relationship-building skills to influence hiring decisions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions with positive candidate experience and timely fills.
• Create sourcing strategies for diverse hiring needs across Fooda’s departments and verticals.
• Coordinate with third-party partner to hire offshore talent.
• Recruit for nonexempt (hourly) and part-time roles with urgency to meet operational needs.
• Provide recruitment counsel on strategies, interviewing, assessments, and sourcing tactics.
• Develop and refine talent acquisition processes aligned to market/data trends.
• Improve recruiting systems, reporting, compensation, and ATS functionality.
• Communicate with hiring managers and HR to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
• Track recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Represent Fooda at recruitment events to build the talent brand.
• Create and update job descriptions reflecting hiring needs.
