Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional accounting and auditing experience.
• Hands-on auditing of expense reports.
• Experience with Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and policies.
• Experience with Concur.
• Strong understanding of T&E policies, procedures, guidance documents, and internal controls.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• High degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Audit travel and expense reports for accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
• Enforce internal controls and SOX requirements to help prevent fraudulent activity.
• Identify and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist with developing and implementing procedures to improve workflows and processes.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Research and resolve expense-related issues efficiently.
• Respond to help desk inquiries and assist with resolving aged items.
• Liaise with internal and external business partners during routine audits.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling investigative audits.
• Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.
