Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2–4 years of experience, a master's with 1 year, or a PhD, or equivalent.
• Experience applying systems engineering methodologies across portions of the lifecycle.
• Experience in requirements development, decomposition, allocation, traceability, and verification.
• Experience contributing to system architecture, interface definition, analysis, integration, verification, validation, or test.
• Understanding of SE processes including risk management and planning.
• Collaborative work in multidisciplinary teams; strong written and verbal communication.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles to develop and deliver complex national security systems across the full lifecycle.
• Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternative solutions using data-driven assessments.
• Develop, analyze, decompose, allocate, and maintain traceability of system requirements.
• Support development of operational, functional, logical, and physical architectures.
• Define interfaces and interface-control artifacts; document requirements and test plans.
• Analyze data to support technical decisions and recommendations.
• Coordinate system integration, verification, validation, and test activities.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers and collaborate with multiple functional teams.
