Job summary

Braver Technology, a New Charter Company, is seeking a Systems Engineer in Hartford, CT for a hybrid role combining remote and on-site client support. You will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot secure infrastructure and cloud solutions for diverse clients.

You will work with Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, workstations, networks, backup platforms, and related infrastructure, balancing proactive maintenance with project delivery. Travel within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of network design or installation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one relevant industry certification.
• Experience configuring and supporting servers and workstations.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-premises and cloud environments, including hardware and software configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Complete project tasks, service tickets, and routine maintenance in remote and on-site environments.
• Design, deploy, administer, and support Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and assist with resolution.
• Collaborate with Design Team on scopes of work and technical quotes.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders about status and risks.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for client infrastructure and procedures.
• Keep ConnectWise records current per policies and procedures.
• Follow installation procedures and identify improvements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies impacting client environments.
• Meet service-delivery and billable-hour expectations; participate in on-call rotation.
• Work with manager on ongoing education and certification plans.
• Attend meetings and provide updates on client issues and scheduling.
• Some projects may involve CJIS-related training/background screening.
