Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in the United States is seeking a Systems/Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies in a hybrid, onsite-remote pattern.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, and PowerShell, plus CI/CD for infrastructure provisioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technology roles.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, networking fundamentals, storage technologies, HPE platforms, and Pure Storage solutions.
• Familiarity with observability platforms and AIOps concepts.
• Understanding of security best practices, identity and access management, and zero-trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-premises datacenters, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
• Manage Windows and Linux server platforms, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise backup and recovery technologies.
• Engineer and support workloads across Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain cloud landing zones, governance standards, resource blueprints, tagging strategies, and cost optimization practices.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, or PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC).
• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) capabilities to improve monitoring, incident detection, capacity planning, and root-cause analysis.
• Design automation solutions using Power Automate, Logic Apps, PowerShell, and Python to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.
• Participate in complex incident resolution, modernization programs, documentation development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
