Job summary

State of Oregon’s Department of Energy is seeking a Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain server systems and domain configurations. This role provides expertise across IT operations, security, and ongoing system administration to support the agency’s mission.

The position offers a hybrid remote work schedule with occasional on-site requirements at the Salem central workplace and eligibility to work within the United States.

Qualifications

• Six years of information systems experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Alternate: Associate's degree plus four years of experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Alternate: Bachelor's degree plus two years of information systems experience in IT project management, requirements gathering, and data management.
• Alternate: Master's degree may substitute for all of the above.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems and solutions to facilitate the department's business.
• Act as SME in support of other IT functions; provide server systems and domain design, configuration, administration, maintenance, and security.
