Job summary

Orlando Magic is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain enterprise systems across servers, storage, networking, and cloud services. You will own alerts, incidents, and projects end to end, ensuring security, stability, and high availability in a 24/7 environment.

You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and modernization initiatives, collaborating with security teams and vendors while documenting everything for audits and future improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid environments, including multi-tenant environments.
• Strong knowledge of server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, identity management, and M365 services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure across servers, virtualization, storage, network equipment, identity services, and end-user environments.
• Ensure systems are secure, patched, highly available, and properly managed through full lifecycle ownership including upgrades and migrations.
• Own monitoring across infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and dependencies with root-cause analysis and reduced monitoring noise.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery, validate backups, and test restorations for readiness.
• Lead modernization, resiliency, security, and compliance initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Standardize systems and processes to remove inefficiencies and reduce operational risk.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and act as backup for Tier 1 in a 24/7 production environment.
• Configure and audit domain services, network, cloud networking, monitoring platforms, and security tooling.
