Job summary

Atlantic.Net is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage core IT infrastructure in our Orlando data center. You will work on Linux and Windows administration, virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V), and Active Directory while supporting multi-tenant cloud environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan upgrades, automation, and migrations, and ensure reliable backup and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a physical data center environment and multi-tenant cloud architecture.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and core services.
• Proficient in scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and practices.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security controls.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices and audits.

Responsibilities

• Identity and Access Management: administer Active Directory or LDAP and support lifecycle management.
• Server Management: manage Windows and Linux servers, configuration, performance, and hardening.
• Jira Administration: configure workflows, permissions, and integrations to streamline teams.
• Automation & Configuration: develop scripts and maintain configuration management solutions.
• Cloud Integration: design and manage hybrid cloud with on-premise and cloud services.
• Monitoring & Alerting: configure tools to detect performance issues and security gaps.
• Back-up Administration: ensure data protection with Veeam and related tools.
• Collaboration & Documentation: coordinate upgrades, migrations, and write runbooks.
