Job summary

Talan is recruiting a System Engineer in New York for a hybrid role (3 days onsite). The role focuses on software deployment, system integration, and infrastructure support in enterprise environments. You will work with Windows and Linux, VMware, Citrix, and cloud tools like AWS while delivering customer-facing technical services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 2–4 years in system administration, software deployment, or infra support.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and upgrade software in customer environments.
• Design and recommend system architectures and deployment models.
• Provide technical support for integration, licensing, and infra.
• Deliver admin and technical training to customers.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Support pre- and post-sales engagements including POCs and installations.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and customer success teams.
