Job summary

Talan is seeking a Full Stack Developer in NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite per week) to design and support enterprise web applications, primarily with .NET (Framework and Core, C#). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, IT stakeholders, and business users to deliver modern solutions.

Responsibilities include building REST services, writing tests, and driving innovative technical solutions while adhering to IT policies. Must be local to the Greater NYC area.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in .NET Core/Framework with C#, ideally within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of modern client-side frameworks, ideally Angular, Kendo UI and TypeScript.
• React experience is a plus.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills; Entity Framework a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure.
• Fluent English (written and spoken), strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enterprise web applications using .NET (Framework & Core).
• Develop REST services and APIs using ASP.NET MVC / Web API.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Propose and implement innovative technical solutions while following IT policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with on-shore/near-shore teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the team's innovation roadmap within an Agile/DevOps environment.
