Job summary

MVP Plus Consulting Inc. is seeking a QA/Testing analyst to support the MECM system development and testing efforts in Albany, NY. The role involves defining requirements, creating test plans, and executing functional and regression tests on web applications.

Candidate will work with stakeholders, analysts, and policy teams to identify gaps and improve processes, using Cognos, Power BI, SQL/PL-SQL, and JSM/JIRA for defect tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 3+ years in data querying/analysis with SQL/PL-SQL/Python.
• 1.5+ years creating test plans for web apps and test cases.
• 1.5+ years executing functional/regression tests.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JSM/JIRA).
• Knowledge of Medicaid policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and aid in development of testing requirements and test plans.
• Create and implement UAT and regression testing for system changes.
• Define user requirements and create supporting documentation.
• Research, propose, and test system solutions for issues.
• Produce ad hoc reports to support analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate activities and facilitate SME meetings.
