Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA or 8-10 years of experience with HS.
• DoD Approved 8570 - IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+, CISSP, etc.)
• Must possess an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and AD.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person.
• Maintain security posture and perform routine system maintenance.
• Educate end-users on password management, data backup, and software usage.
• Install, maintain, and support a secure Windows and Linux network.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops and printers.
• Provide onboarding: devices, user accounts, and email setup for new employees.
• Document tickets and resolutions for future reference and preventative measures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on IT initiatives and projects.
• Perform scheduled backups and maintain inventory of assets.
• Manage Active Directory, group policies, and access permissions.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities and ensure protections against breaches.
