Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to advance our environmental program from our Littleton, CO Technical Center or Denver HQ with a flexible hybrid schedule. The role focuses on GHG inventories, product carbon footprints, LCAs, and cross-functional collaboration to quantify impacts and identify reduction opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a sustainability or environmental background, hands-on LCA experience, strong data skills, and a drive to support 2030 sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with GHG accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
• Hands-on experience conducting LCAs or product carbon footprints.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (Excel and/or PowerBI).
• Familiarity with LCA software and environmental databases.
• Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with methodological rigor.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company’s annual GHG emissions inventory across scopes 1, 2, and 3.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data from manufacturing operations, energy use, logistics, and supply chain partners.
• Conduct cradle-to-gate and full life cycle assessments using LCA software and databases and help produce Environmental Product Declarations.
• Translate environmental data into clear insights through dashboarding and prepare recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Support sustainability reporting including CDP, EcoVadis, customer requests, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor emerging sustainability standards, methodologies, and regulatory trends relevant to manufacturing and product environmental impact.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable product design, and circularity.
