Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of administrative, project coordination, or related experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, Google, and calendaring platforms.
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, or educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support department-wide projects and strategic initiatives under the Project Manager.
• Plan and execute departmental programs, meetings, workshops, and special events; manage logistics and materials.
• Provide administrative support for department programs including STRIQE, LIFTT, ASE, Education Cabinet, and Surgery Education Office.
• Support the daily operations of the Surgery Education Office.
• Cross-train to provide coverage for Undergraduate Medical Education Liaison.
• Oversee clerkship evaluation processes, including scheduling, progress monitoring, and compliance with accreditation.
• Assist RPC with simulations, lectures, schedules, and evaluations.
• Manage VSLO elective process with faculty and institutional partners.
• Administer NBME exam processes for surgery clerkship, including scheduling and security.
