Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Supply Chain Replenishment Planner for its Oak Brook, IL corporate office. You will manage end-to-end replenishment for a portfolio of 80+ vendors to help achieve service levels and inventory turnover goals.

The role requires strong analytical and analytical thinking, excellent Excel skills (pivots) and ERP familiarity including SAP / JDA. You will coordinate shipments to 15 US distribution centers and support 5,000+ Ace stores nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, customer service, and critical thinking are required.
• Ability to multi-task and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a group.
• Advanced skills in Excel with pivots; Access and SQL/VBA are a plus.
• Experience in SAP, JDA Demand, JDA Fulfillment, E3/AW Replenishment are also a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end supply chain management for a portfolio of 80+ vendors and roughly $100M in annual sales volume.
• Serve as a focal point within Ace’s supply chain and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute promotional and seasonal sales and inventory strategies for various product categories.
• Generate purchases and manage shipments from vendor to Ace’s 15 distribution centers.
• Support 5,000+ Ace retail stores by maintaining supply levels across all DCs.
• Analyze orders to optimize PO cycles and operating costs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and drive supply chain compliance.
• Demonstrate Ace Helpful by delivering excellent customer service to retailers, field staff & cross-functional teams.
• Identify and address fill-rate issues via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in negotiations to relieve overstocks and coordinate returns.
