Job summary

Spindrift is seeking a team-oriented Supply Chain professional to own purchasing, production planning, and inventory control in Newton, MA. The role combines hands-on execution with data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to meet sales, margin, and service goals.

You will manage NetSuite inventory, coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers, and optimize finished goods across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong analytical skills, advanced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of urgency.
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.
• Supply chain experience in a consumer food or beverage company preferred.
• Able to work from the Newton, MA office four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain planning inclusive of MRP, purchasing execution, production planning and product allocation.
• Inventory control efforts with raw materials and finished goods including, but not limited to, inventory transfers & lot tracking.
• Use of MRP to execute purchasing that supports the set production plan.
• Transactional execution and system management of a NetSuite inventory management system.
• Manage appropriate inventory levels of finished goods across multiple sites, accounting for sales forecasts and customer orders.
• Communicate thoroughly across functions, specifically with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Sales.
• Actively communicate and work with manufacturing & supplier partners to ensure timelines are met.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with freight partners for shipments containing incomplete product information.
• Achieve overall corporate as well as specific functional goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures and policies that add value to the business.
