Job summary

Spindrift is seeking a team-oriented professional to own all facets of purchasing, coastal production planning, finished goods management, and inventory control within our in-house supply chain operations in Newton, MA.

The role requires hands-on involvement in purchasing, shipping logistics, inventory reconciliations, and NetSuite system management, with accountability for sales, margin, and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain planning including MRP, purchasing execution, production planning and product allocation.
• Inventory control of raw materials and finished goods including transfers and lot tracking.
• Use of MRP to execute purchasing that supports the set production plan.
• NetSuite inventory management system transactional execution and system management.
• Manage inventory levels of finished goods across multiple sites considering forecasts and customer orders.
• Cross-functional communication with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Sales.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and supplier partners to meet timelines and resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Support achievement of corporate and functional goals and identify process improvements.
