Job summary

Uponor is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with onsite work at our North American headquarters in Apple Valley, MN.

The role focuses on evaluating suppliers, tracking KPI-based performance, and driving continuous improvement across quality and supply chain initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PPAP dispositions, SCAR responses, and supplier onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PPAP, 8D, CAPA, and supplier audits helpful

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and monitor supplier performance and COPQ.
• Lead supplier development initiatives and communicate KPIs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality, cost and delivery improvements.
• Support New Product Development efforts related to supplier inputs and NPD readiness.
