Job summary

Lincoln International is seeking Analyst Interns to join our rapidly growing Valuations & Opinions Group (VOG). The internship provides exposure to a broad range of asset classes and industries, with opportunities to develop analytical skills and finance acumen.

The program runs in-person in Dallas, New York or Atlanta offices, with a salary range around $95,000 annually. Candidates should be pursuing a finance or accounting degree and be eligible to start full-time in Summer 2028.

Qualifications

• Analyst Interns are assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and are exceptionally detail-oriented.
• Excellent analytic foundation with strong understanding of financial statements and various valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis).
• Strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Working towards a degree in finance, accounting, or related and have completed significant coursework in these areas.
• Must be eligible to begin working full-time starting Summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our Portfolio Valuation, Asset-backed Finance, or Transaction Opinion & Board Advisory team.
• Constructing and practicing valuation analyses and case studies using Lincoln International models.
• Identifying relevant comparable public companies and M&A transactions using information services like S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Researching general economic and industry conditions to inform valuation work.
• Participating in due diligence meetings and client communications regarding valuation analyses.
