Job summary

State Farm's Nicholas J. Ryan & Associates in Miami, FL invites 2L ABA‑accredited law students to join the Summer Intern Program with the Miami Claims Litigation Counsel office. Interns will assist attorneys on projects, observe litigation, and participate in mentoring throughout the summer in a hybrid in-office/remote setting.

Dates are June 2, 2027 to August 11, 2027, full-time hours (38.75 per week). Pay is $33/hour plus a $2,000 stipend, with remote and in-office work as arranged.

Qualifications

• 2L student enrolled in ABA-accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Strong research skills including familiarity with Lexis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys on assigned projects and observe litigation processes.
• Attend case events and mentor with the team during the internship.
