Sargent & Lundy is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation and distribution projects in a hybrid work model. You will coordinate multiple internal and external teams to drive capital project execution with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget.

The role requires 15+ years in project management within utilities/engineering, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling ~10–25% domestically.

Qualifications

• Essential skills: 15+ years in project management for utility/construction/engineering, multi-disciplinary leadership, capital project experience, strong communication, and team collaboration.
• Experience handling lifecycle phases from initiation to close-out with safety and budget focus.
• Travel willingness of roughly 10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of multiple transmission, substation and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to manage project lifecycle.
• Own project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience.
• Lead project team, mentor members, and ensure accountability.
• Develop positive client relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule and budget.
