Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the execution of transmission, substation and distribution projects in a hybrid work environment in the United States. You will coordinate across departments to manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and superior client experience.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of project management experience, multi-disciplinary team leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in Utility, Construction, Engineering, or similar fields.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in capital project management.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments to manage the lifecycle of capital project execution.
• Oversee project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience.
• Lead project team, mentor and coach members.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget, and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and track changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare concise project reports.
• Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results.
