Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking an EPC Environmental Compliance Project Manager to lead environmental planning and oversight for Solar PV and BESS construction in Houston. The role requires planning, interpretation of permits, and mentorship to on-site Environmental Managers to ensure consistent programs across projects.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in environmental compliance, experience with EPA programs, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or related.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental compliance and regulatory interpretation.
• Experience with CWA, CAA, RCRA and related programs.
• Experience supervising environmental staff preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance planning, oversight, and execution for Solar PV and BESS construction.
• Mentor site-level Environmental Managers to ensure consistent programs.
• Coordinate with Owners, clients, consultants and regulatory agencies on permits and audits.
• Develop and manage environmental budgets and performance KPIs.
• Support audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
