Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Lead to coordinate PM, Subcontracts, Contracts and Engineering.

You will develop subcontracting strategies, manage baselines, monitor performance, and drive favorable terms with suppliers in support of the program’s cost, schedule, and technical requirements. The role requires strong leadership, deep supplier management experience, and the ability to execute IPMDAR metrics and EVMS controls across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
• 5 years of experience managing program schedule, cost and technical requirements.
• 5 years of experience leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal as a results driven leader.
• 5 years of experience with Global Supply Chain (GSC), Supplier management and supplier quality.
• 5 years of experience with the ability to manage program financials: Customer funding, Budget, EACs and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontracting strategies aligned with the overall program plan and FAR/DFAR.
• Manage Subcontract baselines in the proposal phase to ensure scope, budget, capacity, risk management, delivery and payment terms.
• Execute management of all awarded Subcontracts and monitor performance for delivery and quality.
• Lead on-site Subcontractor Program Reviews and maintain IPMDAR evaluation and leading/lagging metrics.
• Oversee budgets and Earned Value Management Metrics, ensuring conformance with baselines and program performance.
