Job summary

The New School's official campus retail store, The New Store, seeks a Student Graphic Design Assistant Specialist to support marketing and merchandise projects. Hybrid role involved in creative production for promotional graphics, social, email, and mass marketing campaign assets.

You'll work with Store staff and university partners to develop campaigns for events, launches, and seasonal initiatives, building portfolio experience through real-world design and content work.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or samples showing graphic design skills and understanding of typography, composition, color, and visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Create digital and print marketing materials for The New Store, including social media graphics, email graphics, advertisements, posters, signage, and other assets.
• Develop original artwork for merchandise and support mockups, production-ready files for apparel, accessories, gifts, and collections.
• Maintain organized creative files and ensure designs adhere to The New School brand standards, visual identity, and licensing requirements.
