Job summary

The University Book Store is seeking a Graphic Design Marketing Intern to create work seen by students, alumni and fans. You will gain hands-on experience designing print, digital and social content while learning how design moves from idea to finished piece in a professional marketing environment.

Work with the marketing team on campaigns, events, and campus activities, and help maintain current brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong layout, typography, and visual design skills.
• Experience with print, digital, social, photo and video projects.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent organization and written/spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Design promotional materials including signage, displays, digital graphics, web content and advertising.
• Create graphics and content for social media
• Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, promotions and events
• Stay updated on design and social media trends
• Collaborate with the marketing team on a variety of creative projects
• Performs all additional duties as assigned.
