Job summary
Stantec's New York City office is seeking a Structural Engineer EIT to support engineering teams on large infrastructure design projects and pursuits. The engineer will work under direct supervision of a Design Manager or Senior Structural Engineer to assist on design infrastructure projects and public spaces.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree highly desired.
- 3+ years of experience in structural design; NY/NJ jurisdiction familiarity preferred.
- Experience with design/analysis software for bridges and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop design deliverables including criteria, documents, specifications, quantities and calculations.
- Perform bridge analysis and design calculations with relevant software.
- Assist in resolving complex technical problems and exercise independent judgment.
- Provide construction phase services on behalf of the Designer of Record.
- Coordinate with clients, deliveries, submittals, meetings, and review comments.
